i was wondering about "spirit" guides how does one go about contacting/communicating with them? do you need training or other resources? can someone else help you find them and initiate contact?

Oooh, this is a great topic! Mine are weird and twisted (figures--I'm weird and twisted, too) and like to do things like mess with my lights. (I mean I'll ask for illumination and they will literally leave me in the dark. Very funny, guys!)
On a few occasions, I've physically felt sensations in response to questions. But I don't think this channeling was actually my gift.
My dreams are often unintelligible but sometimes they try to send me messages that way. They are having some success with pop culture references, but their preferred messages seem to be turning my lights off and sending (YIKES!) spiders.
Step one is to ask for their guidance.
