WE GOT SOME SNOW HERE IN NORTHERN CALI!
And while that's all very exciting, a slight downside to this storm is that I live in a 150 year-old building with questionable electrical, aaaaand the power outage from the storm resulted in a power surge when it came back on and caused some electrical mayhem.
I woke up to several electronics and appliances Kapoot.
One of those is my router, so no internet 😭
Another is my laptop charger, so gotta get another one of those.
The other is my fridge - but that's a landlord issue.
Here's what I am sooooooo grateful for...neither my phone or laptop were plugged in. So neither of my most important devices were bricked.
I've had the intuition for weeks now saying "don't leave your devices plugged in over night."
Now I know why.
That realization shifted my attitude from annoyance to crazy gratitude in a heart beat!
A great life really is a perspective shift, my friends. I love you.
